Online Class Journey with the JK

Last 

week, Sunday I received a message from my cooperating teacher informing me that the JK will having an online class because some of our learners experiencing foot and mouth disease. She ask me to observe on a online class. I was very thankful to my cooperating teacher because I was given a chance to join the class online. And also to my instructors for allowing me to observe.

Online class was became difficult because we experience different kind of problems. The first problem was the noise. We can’t avoid the noise from the learners and around them. The noise become destruction on the discussion of Teacher Gigi and on the class. It affect the learners who are focusing on the discussion. Teacher Gigi need to mute all the participants so that she can discuss properly. And they will unmute it if they want to answer on the different questions.

The second problem was on google meet which is one link is good for 1 hour only that why if the meeting ended she need to create it again and send it on the class so that we will continue with the lesson

The third problem was on the internet connection. Their are time that the internet connection was too slow. We can’t understand what they are saying. And also teacher cannot see them all because their videos was not showing at her screen. They have an activity which they need to show object but teacher cannot see it so they need to explain.

Since they are kindergarten, engaging and attractive PowerPoint Presentation was needed in the class. And also give them a break or some ice breaker to rest and to catch their attention. Even their are many problems encountered, the discussion became successful. The learners have fun and enjoy the online class.
